Expenet Terms of Service

User Responsibility

You understand and agree that prior to allowing Expenet Technologies (Expenet), to perform any work on your computer, it is your responsibility to back-up any data, software, information or other files stored on your computer disks and/or drives. You acknowledge and agree that Expenet, shall not be responsible, under any circumstances, for any loss or corruption of data and or software.



Residential In-shop service will be billed at $60 per hour, and In-home service will be billed at $65 per hour.  Diagnostic fee of $30 will be charged for any diagnostic service if no repairs are to be made by Expenet. All service will be charged in fifteen minute increments following a one hour minimum charge.  Additional charges may be applied for travel expenses depending on customer's location.  For small business hourly rates please request a quote.



Cash, Check, Credit Card, Chamber Bucks, and PayPal are available payment options. Checks must be made out to Expenet. Bounced checks will result in a $25 fee. For payment through PayPal, we must have a valid PayPal account e-mail address to bill. Unless prior arrangements are made, payment is due on receipt of invoice or work completion. 


Abandoned Items

Any equipment or peripherals not picked up within 30 days of the completion date will be considered abandoned and become property of Expenet. We will use any known line of communication with you during the 30 day period. After 30 days of no communication, we hold the right to part-out or sell off your items in order to recover any losses on the services rendered.



The Customer is responsible for checking and updating antivirus or anti malware and spyware software as well as applying security patches to the operating system after the service completion date of repair on the computer. It should be noted, that even with these precautions, your computer is still not 100% free of malware, spyware, viruses, and etc. 



Expenet, will not browse through your files looking at your data; however, we may inadvertently see data during the course of the work (ex. data backup and recovery). Please remove any personal or private files you do not want others to see. Expenet, respects the privacy of its customers and will not disclose any information to a third party unless permission is given or where Expenet is obligated by law.


Right to Refuse

In its sole discretion, Expenet, reserves the right to refuse work that it believes is beyond the scope of its ability or for other good cause.


E-mail communications

From time to time, Expenet Technologies may send out e-mails to customers notifying them of promotions or events or other Expenet related materials. recipients may unsubscribe at any time by e-mail support@expenet.com. Expenet will not sell or giveaway information to any third party unless permission is given or where Expenet Technologies is obligated by law.
